While Kung Fu skill is brutal and effective as a martial skill, training has a number of benefits such as calmness of mind, self awareness and improved health. It can also help you in your life in a number of ways, beyond the obvious self defence skills because of your shift in awareness.
Having confidence in a conflict can give you the calmness to handle it in a much more peaceful and resolute way. This attitude towards difficulties can be a solution to common problems and the trials and tribulations of everyday life.
